Chinatown Heritage Centre  is set for a triple celebration in 2019 – marking its 3rd anniversary, commemorating Bicentennial Singapore and ushering in the Lunar New Year with programmes all year round centred on the theme “BLOOM.

Travel down the history lane and learn about the early history and culture of Chinatown at the Chinatown Heritage Centre. The museum is located in three beautifully renovated authentic shop-houses and has over 15 galleries spread over three floors. These galleries are full of pictures, stories and historical artifacts that depict the struggles of the early settlers of the Chinese descent. There are exhibitions, specially recreated, that depict the living quarters of the early migrants. You can also purchase souvenirs like wooden clogs and hand-sewn Chinese quilt blankets at the Chinese Heritage Centre. There’s a café called Kopi Tiam where you can have local snacks and a cup of coffee.
